Holiday Itinerary
We begin early, picking you up from your hotel at 4:00 a.m. to start this incredible tour. The trip from Cusco to Piscacucho (Km 82) takes about 3 hours. Along the way, we stop in Urubamba for a short break before continuing to Km 82 (2,680 masl), the starting point of the hike. Here, we’ll meet our team and porters who will carry your belongings throughout the trek. At the trailhead (2,720 m / 8,923 ft), we cross the Vilcanota River and hike for about two hours to Miskay (2,690 m / 8,825 ft), where we enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by our professional chef.
Our first campsite is at Wayllabamba (3,000 m / 9,842 ft), where hot drinks and cookies await us, followed by a delightful dinner. After dinner, we settle in for the night.

We start the day with breakfast at 6:00 a.m., then hike toward the Warmiwañuska Pass (Dead Woman’s Pass) at 4,215 m / 13,829 ft, the highest point of the trail. Here, we pause to admire the stunning scenery before descending to Pacaymayo (3,600 m / 11,811 ft) for lunch. We spend the night in tents at Pacaymayo.

After breakfast at 6:00 a.m., we set off on a journey through three magnificent Inca ruins amid breathtaking landscapes.
- 7:00 a.m.: Climb to Runkurakay, an impressive Inca ruin at 3,750 meters. From there, ascend to the second-highest point of the trail, Runkurakay Pass.
- Descend for 45 minutes to Sayacmarka (3,650 m), a charming Inca citadel, and explore its fascinating architecture.
- Continue for 25 minutes to Chakiccocha, where we have lunch surrounded by nature.
- After lunch, hike to Phuyupatamarca (3,600 m), another remarkable Inca site.
- Finally, descend for two hours to Wiñay Wayna (2,680 m), our final campsite.
At 7:00 p.m., enjoy a farewell buffet prepared by our amazing chefs.

We start early with breakfast and head to the first checkpoint, which opens at 5:30 a.m. A one-hour hike takes us to Inti Punku (Sun Gate), where we’re rewarded with breathtaking views of Machu Picchu. After a 20-minute break, we proceed to the second checkpoint and leave our backpacks before exploring the wonder of the world—Machu Picchu.
Between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., enjoy a guided tour of the citadel, learning about its temples and ruins. Afterward, descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch, then take the train at 3:20 p.m. to Ollantaytambo. From there, a private bus takes us back to Cusco and your hotel.
