Inca Jungle Tour to Machu Picchu

We will pick you up from your hotel at 06:00 am in a private transport and travel for an average of four hours heading to Ollantaytambo where we will stop for breakfast, then continue for 3 hours to the starting point of the bike where we will pass through the Abra Malaga 4,316 meters above sea level. We will bike down for an average of three hours to Santa Maria where we will have lunch. Along the way, we will see the typical vegetation of a cloud forest appreciating coffee plantations and coca leaves, until we reach the village of Santa Maria where we will have dinner and spend our first night.
This day in the afternoon, we will have the option to go canoeing for an hour and a half on the Vilcanota River.

After breakfast, at 6:30 a.m. we will be ready for the first day of trekking to Santa Teresa. We will be ready to do the first day of trekking to Santa Teresa. The first two hours of our tour will be uphill, on the way we will have several stops to learn a little more about the rich flora and fauna of the area in which we will find ourselves, one of them will be in a family home where we will relax for about 20 minutes here we can also stock up on water and some rich tropical fruits of the area, Later we will cross a section of the Inca Trail that formerly connected the sacred city of the Incas Machu Picchu with the city of Vilcabamba, here our guide will explain a little more of the history of the Incas of this place we will also have the most impressive views of the entire canyon of Huancarccasa then descend to the village of Quellomayo where we will stop for lunch. Then we will continue with the last 2 hours of walking to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo where we will have a good time to enjoy this very special place, after the thermal baths we will go to our final destination the town of Santa Teresa where we will have dinner and spend our second night.

After our breakfast, at 7:00 am. We will start our walk towards the town of Aguas Calientes, where we find another oroya to cross the same Urubamba river, and then we make a walk of 2 hours and a half, along this way we will observe plantations coca, coffee and fruits like banana, orange, avocado, mango and we will also observe some waterfalls, Finally we will see the mountain of Machu Picchu, then we arrive at hydroelectric where we will have lunch, then the last 3 hours of walking next to the railway line to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will have dinner in a typical restaurant and spend the night in a cozy hotel.

Very early in the morning (5:00 am. approximately) we will start the hike to Machu Picchu with an hour and a half walk up to the Inka citadel of Machu Picchu, this way we can be one of the first groups of the Inka city which will allow us to enjoy the majestic sunrise, then we will have a guided tour of the most important Inka temples and palaces inside the citadel of Machu Picchu, for approximately 02 hours. We will descend from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board our train back to Ollantaytambo where we will have dinner and spend the night.

To start our Sacred Valley Tour from Ollantaytambo to Cusco we will pick you up from your hotel in Ollantaytambo at 7:30 am. Then, we will visit the incredible archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, where we will spend an hour and a half. After exploring the Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo, we will drive for about an hour to the impressive Inca ruins of Moray, an amazing archaeological complex formed by overlapping agricultural terraces that was used by the Incas as an agricultural research station in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. After exploring the circular terraces of Moray we head to the salt mines of Maras, also called salt evaporation ponds of Maras, then we head to Urubamba to enjoy lunch in a typical restaurant. Then we head to the archaeological complex of Pisac arriving at the ruins of Pisac, we will be amazed by the incredible archaeological complex, located high in the mountains overlooking the Sacred Valley of the Incas, with impressive stone walls, agricultural terraces, irrigation systems and the largest cemetery of the Inca Empire. At the end of the guided tour we will head back to the city of Cusco around 6:00 p.m. where we will have dinner and spend the night.

We start the day with a delicious breakfast, we leave the hotel at 8:30 am and the tour begins at the Temple of Coricancha, which translates from Quechua as the temple of the sun, which was the most important of the entire Inca empire. Then we will go to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, one of the most emblematic constructions of the Incas from where we can appreciate a privileged view of almost the entire city and we will have lunch once finished we will go to Qenqo an archaeological complex of mainly ceremonial – astronomical use. Then we will go to the archaeological center of Puca Pucara which was a fortress for military use with multiple environments, squares, baths, aqueducts, walls and towers. And finally we will go to the archaeological center of Tambomachay archaeological site with water channels made of carved stone that was possibly dedicated to the worship of water. Finally, we will return to Cusco, where we will have dinner and spend the night concluding the tour.
